What started as a conversation between artist Caroline Hwang and designer Bryn Smith way back in 2008 turned into a collaborative love note to Brooklyn and the beginning of spoonmeloveme. Channeling their passion for printmaking to create a line of posters and totes, the duo hopes someday their city feels the same.
Caroline Hwang is an artist living in Brooklyn, New York. Her work is influenced by crafts, graphic arts, quilting, films, music, among other things. Her work has become what it is today from the days of watching her grandmother crochet and knit. She enjoys coffee and food with a great deal of joy. Bryn Smith was born & raised in Minnesota, where she honed her Midwest pride before moving east and calling Greenpoint, Brooklyn home. Graphic designer by day and crafter by night, Bryn also runs a small letterpress and silkscreen studio under the moniker Like You Care. You can see more of her work at www.brynsmith.com
